OpenEMM offers a great user interface, automatic bounce management, opening and link tracking, lots of graphical realtime statistics, a content management system and a scripting feature to enhance the functionality of OpenEMM with triggerable customized actions.

Who we are

Right now the OpenEMM development and support team is quite small and consists of fulltime developers and freelancers who work for the company AGNITAS AG, because the core code of OpenEMM was developed by AGNITAS during the last 10 years. (AGNITAS is a German company founded in 1999 solely for the purpose of developing software and providing services for e-marketing.)

But we hope to expand the sphere of the [http://www.imcredel.com/open-source/openemm-e-mail-marketing-software OpenEMM ] development and support team. We want to motivate developers to improve OpenEMM and share their code with all other users of OpenEMM, and we want to motivate users to share their knowhow with the OpenEMM community via support documents and entries in our support forums.

Why did we go [http://www.imcredel.com open source ] with our software?

We firmly believe (and already have experienced) that open source is a new and superior model for developing standard software. No internal development team (not even that of Microsoft) is able to compete with a community of motivated developers spread all over the world. And since the source code is openly available for review and security audits, its quality is often much better than "hidden" source code of [http://www.imcredel.com/open-source/closed-source-software closed source software] .

We ourselves use open source software as the foundation for our products. In summer 2006 we felt that the quality of our products was good enough to go open source with the standard version of our core software.

By the way, we see open source business software which is backed by a commercial company advantageous because it makes it easier for enterprises to adopt open source software. Enterprises often demand security, contracts, guarantees and service level agreements. We (AGNITAS) can provide it. We think that a company in the back is an added value for OpenEMM in case someone needs commercial support.

If you are interested in commercial services like setup, e-mail support, hosting and development, please have a look at the list of commercial services for OpenEMM we offer.

[http://www.kochukeralam.in/tourism/gavi Gavi] Eco-Tourism a project of the Kerala Forest Development Corporation has caught the attention of tourists, mostly from European countries. The project is exclusive in many respects and the majority who visited was nature lovers and adventure tourists. Over a short period of time visitors to Gavi gradually increased, especially after 'Alistair International' the world acclaimed tourism major listed it among the leading eco-tourism centres and one of the must-see places in India.

A highlight of the Gavi eco project is the involvement of the local populace in its activities as guides, gardeners and cooks. This will provide livelihood for the locals and also will help to create awareness on conservation of nature. Gavi, located in Pathanamthitta district offers its visitors activities like trekking, wildlife watching, outdoor camping in specially built tents, and night safaris.

Another unique feature of Gavi is camping in the forests. One can pitch a tent in the camping site, which is a rarity in many Indian forests. As the dusk stretches into the silence of the night, one can feel the presence of wildlife in the middle of nowhere, an experience that cannot be explained in words. There are also tree top houses where one can enjoy the avian life to the fullest.

Active involvement of tribals in Gavi makes it a unique venture of its kind in the country. Traditional knowledge of the forest and its way of life helps Gavi to sustain its surroundings in its original state.

Gavi is bound to cast its magical spell on every visitor and is surely a place that should not be missed in one's lifetime. Gavi is pristine, and it belongs to the wild, which is a reminder that visitors are responsible for their intentions and actions, which will have a bearing on the upkeep of Gavi for a long time to come.

Dileep’s next release will be [http://www.kochukeralam.in/films/mr-marumakan Mr.Marumakan] , directed by Sandhya Mohan, which will hit the screens on Aug 18.

The film has been scripted by his favourite duo of Siby K Thomas and Udayakrishna.

The shooting of the film has been going on for sometime now with several unexpected happenings delaying the processes. Sanoosha play the heroine and it is her debut in the senior league for the former child artiste.

Bhagyaraj, Khushboo and Sheela also include the film’s main cast. The shooting got delayed for a while with Khushboo getting injured during the shooting. Later some portions with Jagathy Sreekumar had to be re shot, after the actor’s accident. Now he has been replaced by Baburaj.

Can Dileep ensure another blockbuster like this year’s top grosser, Mayamohini? Let’s wait and watch for now
Dileep will start shooting for hit latest movie Mr. Marumakan from March 10th in and around Ernakulam. With this flick he is teaming up with his favourite script writer duo Sibi K Thomas and Udayakrishna after the huge success of Karyasthan. Produced by Maha Subair and Nelson Eapen under the banner of Varnachitra and directed by Sandhya Mohan, Mr. Marumakan has a surprise factor in Sanusha, the heroine. She is already the darling of families through various serials and movies she acted as child artist. Mr. Marumakan will be her stepping stone towards Malayalam film industry in grown up roles.

Mr. Marumakan tells the story of a marumakan (son in law) which will be played by Dileep and a father in law. Famous Tamil actor and director Bhagyaraj will debut in Malayalam through this movie. Bhagyaraj will give life to Dileep’s father in law on screen. The makers of this movie say that Sanusha is casted opposite Dileep just because the story demands so. We also heard that this has an interesting story line, where a man had to marry a girl much younger than him. Awaiting for more details.

Mr. Marumakanis is a comedy - romance movie.Ashok Raj (Dileep) is the son of Rajagopalan Thampy (Nedumudi Venu).Ashok Raj is a lawyer, his interest lies in reviving a defunct drama troupe called Bharatha Kalakshetram, which used to be run by his family.

Balasubrahmanyam (Bhagyaraj) is a bank officer who has come to initiate legal proceedings against Babu Raj to get him to repay the loan that he had taken to start his venture. As it turns out, Balasubrahmanyam is now estranged from his wife the haughty Raja Mallika (Khushboo) and daughter Raja Lakshmi (Sanusha). The entry of Ashok...

The name ' [http://www.kochukeralam.in/ Keralam] ' or ' [http://www.kochukeralam.in/ Kerala] ', as it was adopted by the English language, comes from the Malayalam words 'Keram' meaning Coconut Palm and 'Alam' meaning Land or Place. Keralam is therefore 'The Land of Coconut Palm'.Most women wear a saris (a straight piece of cloth draped around the body as a long dress) and short blouses. They place its loose end over the head or shoulder. Wealthy women may wear saris made of silk, with borders of gold thread. Many of the women in urban areas wear pyjamas (full trousers) with a long blouse and a veil. Western style of clothing, like jeans and T-shirts are gaining popularity. Like other Indian women, women in Kerala also wear jewellery, especially earrings and bracelets. Many women also wear a kumkum (round dot) in the middle of the forehead. The kumkum, which is usually prepared from a red or black powder, is considered a mark of beauty.
Clothing for most [http://www.kochukeralam.in/ Keralites ] is quite simple and typically untailored. But most people wear light, loose clothing because of the hot climate. Clothing worn by Malayalees varies slightly from region to region. Members of the various religious groups may also dress in a slightly differently manner. Men frequently wear little more than a broadcloth dhoti (a simple white garment wrapped around the legs), worn as a loose loincloth. The dhoti (mundu) forms a sort of loose trousers. The more affluent and urban dwellers generally are more inclined to wear tailored clothing, including various types of trousers, jackets, and vests.

It is during the festivals, especially [http://www.kochukeralam.in/art-culture/onam Onam] and [http://www.kochukeralam.in/art-culture/vishu Vishu,] that one can see the typical Kerala dressing when the women in 'Set Saris' (white saris with borders of gold thread (Kasavu)) and blouse matching the sari border colour could be seen with men, who prefer white dhoti with 'kasavu' borders for such occasions. Young girls wear long skirts and blouses of various colours.
Most rural people, especially females, do not wear shoes and, when footwear is necessary, prefer sandals.
Throughout Kerala, however, Western dress is increasingly in vogue, especially among urban and educated males, and Western-style school uniforms are worn by both sexes in many schools, even in rural areas of Kerala

Compared to other Indian states, Kerala lies closer to the equator. Yet Kerala is bestowed with a pleasant and equable climate through out the year. This is because of the land's nearness to the sea and the presence of the fort like Western Ghats on the east. Kerala would have been a dry land because of the dry winds blowing from the north, but for the Western Ghats which prevent this wind from entering the land. Kerala receives copious rain (average 3000 mm a year )each year. The temperature in Kerala normally ranges from 28° to 32° C (82° to 90° F) on the plains but drops to about 20° C (68° F) in the highlands. The Highlands of Kerala, which is an area of major tourist attraction, enjoys a cool and invigorating climate the year-round . Owing to its diversity in geographical features, the climatic condition in Kerala is diverse. It can be divided into 4 seasons - Winter, Summer, South-West Monsoon and North-East Monsoon.
