You know it is a competition, right? Winning that scholarship. There are millions of kids in the United States who want them too, and many who believe that they deserve it more than you do. Your mindset on this thing is what will bag it for you, nothing less. Your mindset and your level of preparation.

In this life, you use what you have to get what you want. Even if you are no genius, there has got to be one thing that you are good at in this world. When you know that one thing, begin to hunt for scholarships that could fit into that criterion because you are sure to find one. And then you want to hone your skills so that you are indeed the best at it.

With your scholarship examination only a week away, you need all the work and all the rest that you can get. You may have to let go of a couple of pleasures, but it is only for a short while. Once the exams are over, you could cool off a bit, but not before.

You get to increase your chances of getting a scholarship when you abide by the rules. One thing that scholarships all over have a lot of is rules. When you know the rules by rote, and you can apply them without thinking, it’s hardly likely that you won’t get the scholarship.
