<h1>Arrested Development Season 1</h1>

The first season of the now cult TV humour show Arrested Development was on from November 2, 2003 to June 6, 2004. The network that brought us this brilliant show was Fox. Arrested Development Season 1 contained 22 episodes, each about 22 minutes long. Not becoming an instant hit, it later proceeded to become a true cult classic. On October 19, 2004, Arrested Development Season 1 was published on DVD.

Arrested Developmentís storyline is focused on the Bluth family. The family once was wealthy but is currently horribly dysfunctional. Hand-held cameras are employed throughout the series as well as narration, archive photos and historical footages.

<strong>Plot of Arrested Development Season 1</strong>

The head of the Bluth Family, George Bluth Sr., is the founder and CEO of the Bluth Company that makes low quality McMansions. The only smart son, Michael, would be the next logical choice to become the new CEO but is one more time passed over at his fathers retirement party. The mom Lucille, is instead made CEO of the company. Michael has had enough and decides to leave the family, especially after his mother names Buster, the youngest and so immature he's afraid of his own shadow son, the manager. Before Michael has time to leave though, the SEC comes to the scene and arrests George Senior for fraud.

Michael is furious at the development (Arrested Develpment one might sayÖ) so he accepts a new job with a rival hosing company. The family comes to grips with the fact that they canít run the corporation without Michael and begs him to come back be the CEO of the Bluth Company yet again. Michael remains outraged and doesnít desire to stay, until he sees how much the family cares about his son George Michael. As Michael wants the family members to stay together, he asks his sister Lindsay, her gay husband Tobias (a Never Nude, meaning he never takes all his clothes off, he showers in cut off jeans) in addition to their daughter Maeby to live with them in the model house with him and the son.

<h2>The all Arrested Development Season 1</h2>

The characters find it difficult to change their identities. Buster tries to finally get rid of his over bearing mother Lucille going away with his brothers and having an affair with Lucille Austero (also referred to as Lucille 2), Lucille Bluthís neighbour and main social rival. George Michael falls head over heals for his cousin Maeby and attempts to kiss her throughout the whole season as well as the rest of the series. He also tries his best being a good son to Michael and often he tries a little too hard, forgetting being a child. Tobias who was simply a psychiatrist (or as he refers to during one episode, ìan Analrapist, a combination of Analyst and Therapistî) but lost his licens following an unfortunate attempt to perform CPR on a sleeping man and instead decides to become an actor. He seeks the assistance of Carl Weather in order to meet his dream but only manages to ridicule himself, all over again.

Michael becomes fond of the girlfriend of his brother Gob, Marta, who treats her bad each day. He has a hard time choosing between the beautiful Marta and putting family first. The rivalry turns ugly when Gob understands Michael has fallen for his girlfriend and after having seen the brothers fight Marta decides to break up with them both since they donít share the same family values. In an attempt to make Buster angry, Lucille (1) adopts a Korean son she ìorderedî when angry 1 day. She mistakenly calls him ìAnnyongî, the Korean name for ìHelloî since she thinks thatís his name. Gob marries a female he just met after having a series of escalating dares but canít receive an annulment since he wonít admit they didnít consumate the marriage

Kitty, George Senior's former assistant and lover, blackmails the Bluth Company with little success. When Gob does an illusion and sinks the family luxury boat, Kitty is trapped in the explosion and survives having a cooler of evidence labled ìH Maddasî. George Senior tries to get out of prison, where he converted to Judaism, most of Arrested Development Season 1 last but not least succeeds by faking a heart attack. George tells his son Michael in Arrested Development Season 1 that he might have committed ìlight treasonî when he sold mini-palaces for Saddam Hussein in Iraq.
